Being a local, I would have thought this hotel was in the three-bar range, but there is no denying the number of very positive reviews this property receives. It is located directly across highway 50 from El Dorado Beach. This makes for great views and nice walks, but it's not a good swimming beach. The pool area and two level Jacuzzi are very nice. The Inn by the Lake also features a wedding/convention center so you may want to consider this property for either of those.
