New Slopeside Offerings

Lake Tahoe has for a long time suffered from a lack of ski-in ski-out accommodations. Not so anymore. Both Squaw Valley and Heavenly have recently undergone major enhancements and expansions with substantive capital infusions from Intrawest, Marriott, and Vail Resorts. While Squaw and Heavenly have grabbed most of the attention, Kirkwood has quietly been offering more and more in the way of true ski to and from your door homes, rentals, and shared ownership opportunities. The same can be said for Northstar, which will also soon feature a new ski-in ski-out village. Further south, Intrawest has revitalized Mammoth in much the same way.
