Slopeside Lodging at Squaw Valley
Squaw Valley has recently made the transition from world class mountain to world class resort as a result of an infusion of capital from Intrawest. Recent developments include the addition of the Village at Squaw Valley. This adds over 200 units (1-3 Bedroom Condos) at the base of the mountain (in addition to numerous shops, galleries, restaurants, and more). Below are some of the slopeside lodging choices at Squaw Valley. Vacation homes are available in Olympic Valley as well.
- Village at Squaw Valley - The condos that Intrawest built. First Ascent or Station 22 - Deluxe studios, one, two, and three bedroom units are available.
- Squaw Valley Lodge - Located just uphill of the Cable Car right on the slopes. Studios through three bedrooms are available.
- Resort at Squaw Creek - Luxury hotel at the base of Snow King Peak. The hotel is served by a triple chair to the peak. In the summer, the property is home to the Squaw Creek Golf Course, a water slide, shopping, and numerous other activities.
- PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn - Originally built as housing for the 1960 Olympic Delegation, Plump Jack was completely remodeled in 1995. This is not a large hotel, with just 61 rooms. But they are very tastefully appointed. It's not ski in-ski out, but it is closer to the slopes than the ski area parking.
