The trailhead is located directly across the street from the campground. Note
the silver 'race limo' next to
the ugly Porsche. That's 'Al Subi' (short for Al Subira, my trusty Subaru) as
she approaches a quarter million miles.
Note how with youthful exuberance, her darkly tinted rear windows reflect the
onslaught of the midday sun.
