While it is still possible to link a line down Ellery Bowl almost all the way to the lake the snow didn't look too promising here.
Linking the snow fields together requires some lengthy traverses. There may still be some lines through Ellery Chutes but the snow
is rotten around any rocks that have fallen. A lot of rocks have fallen.
