You see how high the bridge is, right? That's where you gotta get your boat if you take out here. Maybe when the
flow is low. With a good flow the Big Bend run has some good class three action and doesn't take too long.
There are also many places to jump off rocks and perhaps even a structure at the end.**
This is NOT one of those places here. The water is very shallow.

** Disclaimer- Jumping into Alpine Lakes has inherent dangers regardless of water depth. People break bones every year jumping into Angora Lakes without ever hitting anything but water. Additionally, water depths flucuate greatly during periods of limited precipitation. The risks are even greater with flowing water like the rivers around Lake Tahoe.
