Formerly the Royal Valhalla, the
property was more than renovated in 2013, it was reinvented. While
TripAdvisor includes The Landing in a list of top 10 lakeside hotels,
the resort is actually across the street form the lake. They also list
the beach that is across the street as a private beach, which is
misleading (all the hotels in the area give passes, and anyone can buy
a pass). It is a nice beach though and looking out from your room at
the lake you don't really notice the road. The rooms are all very
tastefully decorated and appointed. including heated granite bathroom
floors and toilet seats. There is a small spa on property and a fine
dining restaurant, Jimmy's, featuring Greek/California cuisine. The Landing Website
