Snowshed Wall
Numerous climbs close to easy
parking make Snowshed a Donner Summit favorite which means it can get
pretty crowded on summer weekends. There are lots of climbs to do
though so you can usually find something. There is a decent variety
from 5.6 - 5.13 as well as much in the way of both crack and face
climbing. And while not all the climbs are excellent quality, there are
excellent climbs spread throughout the difficulty spectrum. Most climbs
can be top roped and a 60m ropes should get you
up and down just about everything. Most of the face climbs are bolted
while you will either need gear or top rope the cracks.
