Sunridge Golf Club

Sun Ridge is one of several newer courses in the Carson Valley, being built in1998. The course features lots of topography with hole being cut right into the desert hillside. Even here in the desert, water comes into play on the majority of holes. The back nine holds much of the action as hole 13 is a reachable par 5 with an (almost) island green. The 14th is a 400+ yard par 4 that can be reached on the drive due to the over 200 foot elevation drop. Most attempts, however, end up in the sage brush that is not visible from the tee box. The fourth hole is a beautiful par 3 over a lake with mountains in the background.
