The first thing to mention here is that this is not really a resort. It does remind me a bit of some of the apartment complexes I lived in while attending college. The second is that it isn't really a beach club. As long as you aren't expecting those, you should be ok. This is a good location in the summer and the pool and especially the giant hot tub are both nice. Grills are provided outside of most rooms as well.
A pass to Lakeside Beach is typically included with your room though it's a bit of a walk if you've got small children.
