The former Tradewinds Inn has been transformed from a dated strip motel into the Blue Lake Inn at Tahoe, a quaint boutique hotel with modern rooms and many amenities. All rooms contain refrigerators and microwaves and some include fireplaces and jaccuzis. From our photos you'll notice that while one side looks renovated and fresh, the back side is still in need of work.
A pass to Lakeside Beach is typically included with your room though you'll want to drive there if you've got beach stuff for a family.

There are three or four great places for breakfast in Tahoe. The Driftwood Cafe is easy walking distance.
