The Stardust Lodge is an older, but well maintained timeshare property located directly across from the Heavenly Gondola. During the spring summer and early fall, the property is always a joy to drive by due to their excellent flower displays. There are two pools and spas on the property. The staff always seems to get the thumbs up, even from those with complaints. As a Tahoe resident, I would hope you stay here, since the owners have a way of doing good things for South Lake Tahoe kids and schools.
A pass to Lakeside Beach is typically included with your room though you'll want to drive there if you've got beach stuff for a family.
