As with most of the properties in this area, the Station House Inn is an older hotel. It has aged very gracefully, however and the location has retained all of it's splendor. The layout is nice with the pool and spa separated from the bar and restaurant by a trellised patio deck. Full breakfast is included at the restaurant and for dinner they have one of Tahoe's best wine lists. The rooms are smallish by some standards, but clean and nicely appointed.
A pass to Lakeside Beach is typically included with your room.
Unless you've got an awful lot of stuff, it is within easy walking distance.
