If you're looking for a great place to watch a softball game, come to Zephyr Cove Park on a warm summer evening. The bleachers are grass and right field is lined with tables and grills hidden amongst the pines overseeing the field.

The park also features a modern playground, six tennis courts, volleyball, and an eighteen hole disc golf course. The excellent group facilities overlook the tennis and volleyball courts, all under the shade of majestic pines. Douglas County also has a branch of their library on site (with a REALLY cold water fountain). Zephyr Cove beach is right across the street, so after a hot round of disc golf (this is a hot, tiring course) a dip in the lake is a fantastic idea.

Directions-Zephyr Cove Park is located just off Hwy 50 on Warrior Way. Coming from Lake Tahoe, turn at the fire station just past Zephyr Cove Resort. The park is managed by the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department (775) 586-7271.
