Digital Camera links and info.
The majority of the pictures on this site were taken with a Toshiba 3200 digital camera. Sadly, the camera is no longer with us due to an illness that set in after breaking open on top of Mount Rose. She was a heck of a camera, too. Close to half the pictures here were taken after she recovered from my dropping her into Edgewood Creek. I did plenty of research looking for a replacement, and here are the results. All the cameras listed are recommended for their high quality. The Webmaster's Choice merely represents the camera that best fulfills our needs, which may differ greatly from yours.

The Olympus Stylus Family is our choice for our digital needs. The reasons are simple. The picture quality is excellent, but that's true of all the cameras on this page. The Stylus slips easily into your pocket, it works quickly for a digital camera, and it's great in cold or wet conditions. Both cameras feature a 3X optical zoom for total 12X zoom capabilities. Equipped with the xD picture card (16 mB included), beautiful panoramas are only a click away . There is also a 5 mP version but it is not all-weather. |

Some of you may not consider the size of the camera important. For you, a 10X optical zoom may make your decision easier. Or perhaps you are one who can accept nothing less that a SLR professional camera. This is where digicams are perhaps making their greatest strides.
