Backcountry Gear - Hydration Packs

Hydrate or Die! That's the mantra of Camelbak, the leader in hydration technology, and its a good one. While it rarely comes down to that, we could easily say Hydrate or be tired. Hydrate or get a headache later. Hydrate to perform at your best. Anyway you get the picture. The following packs will do the job and then some. Many are tailored for specific tasks. The Snobowl is designed to fit snugly under a jacket while skiing, and comes complete with insulation to keep the hose from freezing. Dakine makes a mountain biking specific pack complete with a helmet stash and body armor cinches. For skiing I use the Dakine Heli Pro (not a water pack) and can attest to their durability.
