Church Weddings in North Lake
Tahoe
This guide should help anyone
looking for a church wedding in North Lake Tahoe. Some of the churches
require that at least one of the partners be of a certain faith, while
others are not as strict. This only includes churches that have an
actual location, or building to call home. It does not include those
that regularly meet at schools or other temproray arrangements. It also
does not include those that do not have web sites. The map below shows
the area included as "North Lake Tahoe" solely for the purposes of this
guide.
North Shore Churches
The
Village Church - This Presbyterian church offers only a
limited number of Christian weddings each year.
First
Baptist Church of Tahoe City - The lakeview auditorium seats
120. there is also an outdoor venue available in the summer.
Saint
Patrick's Episcopal Church - Incline Village
Corpus
Christi Parish - Catholic Church located in Tahoe City.
Seating capacity is 360.
Queen
of the Snows Catholic Church - This Squaw Valley church is
part of the Corpus Christi Parish out of Tahoe City. Capacity is 360.
Saint
Nicholas Episcopal Church - Noel Porter Camp &
Conference Center features an outdoor chapel tha may be available.
Located in Tahoe City.
North
Tahoe Hebrew Congregation - The Synagogue and Community
center is only a stone's throw from the lake shore.
Saint
Francis of Assisi - Incline Village Catholic Church
Tahoe
Christian Center - Feature a lakeview wedding chapel with
ampitheater style seating for 125, although they have held weddings for
up to 250. People of all faiths are welcome.
Squaw
Valley United Church of Christ - Built for the Squaw Valley
olympics (and recently renovated), the chapel can handle weddings for
up to 200 as well as receptions for up to 150.
